Responsibilities Unique client-side role responsible for building and reporting across all media channels including Offline, Online and Direct. As part of the analytical team they will be working alongside the planning and analytics team as well as integrating with Digital, Offline and agency experts to drive results. The candidate should be specialized in Data Visualization and interactive dashboards, with particular expertise in Excel and Tableau. The manager will be responsible for business insights, forecasting, planning, and reporting on all media channels and overseeing the tools being used to drive efficiency and grow the business. The candidate should be someone who knows how to gather, manage and analyze media data. A curious, continuous learner who thrives in a fast paced, data driven environment and is not satisfied with the status quo. The Insights manager will create and deliver the analytical roadmap to all media results and projections. Responsibilities Manage all media data related to Planning, Buying and Optimization Develop smart, compelling dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPI's), identify trends, optimize performance, and monitor company initiatives Receive, clean and prep data coming from our various internal and external partners Lead efforts within the region to streamline and standardize reporting Create, manage and leverage dashboards for applying Mix Modeling and Multitouch Attribution outputs to development and execution of media plans Work with all stakeholders to build and implement the correct analytics, reporting and modeling infrastructure Develop and utilize data visualization tools to make clear and concise visual representations of data Plan, analyze and forecast yearly, quarterly, monthly and daily calls, sales and revenue generating units for all inbound phone volume, web orders and shoppers associated to digital media, traditional media and direct marketing. Establish and perform quality control checks for assigned databases Maintain weekly refreshes and preparing weekly/monthly progress reports Build and maintain automated reports/decks to track and report on our daily KPI's to senior leadership Support Director in the design and development of an automated weekly upload process Track results and provide data interpretation using a variety of analytics tools and resources (esp. Excel, Tableau, DOMO, and MicroStrategy) Drive and ensure high standards of accuracy and precision in analytics and oversee development of actionable insights through the use of advanced analytics and statistical techniques. (current platform used is DOMO) Mine and analyze data to determine and act on opportunities in real-time, to drive continuous business improvement Generate daily and weekly reports, charts, graphs, and spreadsheets to inform business of media impact on driving results Create presentations to help the media team, marketing department, and organizational leadership identify performance trends, marketplace conditions and optimization opportunities Produce reporting by DMA to track trends of activity in relation to Sales/Gross Adds Work closely with internal and agency teams, particularly as a key liaison with data scientists Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required, Data Science / Business preferred 3-5 years experience in Business Intelligence/Data Analytics/Data Engineering, ideally within a media department or agency Expertise in building within Excel and Tableau required, as well as knowledge of other data visualization and analytics tools (i.e. Domo, Microstrategy, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) Ability to engage on datasets, as well as identifying data completeness and quality is necessary Demonstrated success in applying a combination of quantitative analysis and out of the box creativity to meet and exceed business goals A strong team player who is equally capable and comfortable working independently to get the job done Solid project management skills that demonstrate the ability to manage priorities, set and meet deadlines, and manage budgets while maintaining accuracy and efficiency of the deliverables Effective written and oral communication with all levels of management and outside agencies and partners
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
