Operations Manager-Bilingual Chinese-Long Island City

General Management
Encourage and direct subordinates in training, teamwork, and implementation in manufacturing principles, tools, and techniques.
Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, motivation, empowering, and evaluating employees including conflict resolution and disciplinary action. Demonstrate the characteristic of caring to the direct reports, and encourage employees to care for each other & the company.
Ensure effective utilization of human resources including appropriate workload, work schedules and performance management.
Ensure effective learning and continuously improve the work process, better ways to manage the Plant efficiently.
Execute safety and security policies, and ensure that work place is organized and equipment is well maintained.
Ensure effective interdepartmental teamwork, communication and coordination.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and governmental regulations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
8-10 years experience in food manufacturing or similarly regulated production environment
Minimum 5 years of progressive supervisory management experience
Bachelors degree or AS degree with a concentration in production management a plus

Must have through
reading/writing/speaking knowledge of English and Chinese.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
