Description

Working with senior members of the team on all aspects of the advanced credit risk models development life cycle. Interface with Risk and Business Managers, Systems (IT), and Model Validators. Actively participate in team meetings on model development across Credit & Op Risk analytics.
Develop, document and provide high-level support of Probability of Default (PD) models.
Research and apply enhancements to existing suite of models to improve accuracy
Work closely with business and product management to provide value added solutions for the enhancement of risk-return tradeoff
Participate in annual model reviews and performance testing
Manage the data request and systems testing process



Qualifications

3-5 years experience in Corporate or Risk Modeling
Strong Analytical Skills (Assessment Decision Making/Problem Solving)
Strong quantitative skills and understanding of statistical tools (e.g. SAS).
Strong working knowledge of Accounting and Corporate Finance a significant plus
Ability to work with a team, manage projects against deadlines
Excellent communication skills, verbal, and written.
Second language a plus
Master or PhD in Economics or Econometrics/Statistics or Finance (Accounting/Corporate Finance), Math or an Applied Science
Ability to analyze and reconcile large volume of data so that it can be summarized and eventually used for management decisions.
